BOARD & TRAIN POLICIES

Programs and rates updated 5/2020. Availability is limited to two dogs at a time.

This means we book out quickly. Inquire soon if you have questions!
Dogs stay with Hannah in her home with her personal dogs. For this reason there are restrictions on what types of dogs we can accept. Most dogs are eligible to participate in board and train programs but we are not able to accept dogs with the history of the following:
- Aggressive behaviors towards humans that prevents them from being leashed, fed, and put in and out of a crate
.
- Confinement and/or separation anxiety.
- Extreme aggression towards dogs that would prevent them from being safe in a covered crate near other dogs.
- Dogs with a history of breaking out of kennels, jumping fences/gates (or even attempting to) to get to a passing dog.
- Extremely vocal dogs unless able to wear a bark collar.
- Dogs with a chance of having any contagious illness including but not limited to Giardia or other intestinal parasites,  kennel cough, mange, parvo, fleas, etc.

Board and Train is not available to new clients who plan to be out of town for for more than a week during the duration of their dog's program (some exceptions can be made). Owner involvement is required. You must be willing to follow your trainer's instructions to maintain your dog's training. Your investment will not be worthwhile if you are not willing to adjust your lifestyle based on your trainer's recommendations. Your first follow up lesson needs to be scheduled within 7 days after your dog returns home. Email support is available for your dog's lifetime after your program is completed.

Training and behavior modification cannot be guaranteed. There are many factors that go into a dog's success including your ability to replicate the training skills taught during your dog's stay. What we can promise is that we will provide the best training we can and support you and your dog throughout their transition back home!

We have experience with raw feeding and accept limited vaccinations/titers as well as intact dogs at any age. It is highly recommended that your dog be on some form of flea/tick preventative . There are a lot of ticks out here!

Please do not send along personal belongings besides your dog's collar, leash, food, and any medication or supplements they might need. You do not need to supply a crate.

BOARDING POLICIES

Boarding is charged per day your dog is in our home, not per night. We often cover transportation to and from your home. Once you've decided to book boarding with us, a 10% deposit is required to hold your reservation. This is applied to your total bill and is non-refundable unless you cancel your reservation three weeks or longer prior to your dog's stay. Reservations must be confirmed and all payments made at least a week (7 calendar days) in advance. If boarding is not confirmed, paid for in full, or a request is sent in with less than a week notice, there will be an additional $20 per day for your dog's stay. Please do not send personal items except for collar/harness, leash, food, and any medications. We are not responsible if additional items sent with your dog are damaged.
